What we collect

  • When you apply: your name, email, phone, city/ZIP, note and resume (if you attach one).
  • When you post your resume (without applying to a job): your name, email, phone, town, the work you want, what you tell us about your experience, and the resume file.
  • When you post jobs: your email, name, company details and the posts themselves.
  • When you use the site: basic technical data. We don't store IP addresses; we keep a scrambled code to count abuse reports and stop spam.

Who sees it

  • Your application goes to the employer you applied to. Only they can open your resume (and Midsouth Talent Inc, if you tick the box below).
  • If you tick the box when applying, your application is also shared with Midsouth Talent Inc, which runs this site, so they can contact you about other jobs. If you don't tick it, Midsouth Talent Inc's recruiters don't see it.
  • A resume you post without applying goes only to the recruiters at Midsouth Talent Inc. Employers cannot search or browse resumes on this site. A recruiter may describe your background to an employer by a candidate number, without your name or contact details; your name, contact details and resume file are given to an employer only when you say yes. You can list companies you do not want to be mentioned to.
  • Job posts are checked by automated tools, including an AI service, to catch scams and unfair wording. Applications are not sent to it.
  • We don't sell your information.

How long we keep it

Applications and resumes are deleted from Grind City Jobs 365 days after you apply. If you chose to share your application with Midsouth Talent Inc, they keep their copy under their own privacy practices until you ask them to delete it. A posted resume is passed to Midsouth Talent Inc and the file is then removed from Grind City Jobs; they may use automated tools, including an AI service, to read it into a profile for their recruiters. Sign-up attempts that are never used are deleted after 7 days.
