Job-seeker safety

We check every post, but scammers try every board. A real employer will never:

• Charge you a fee to apply, train or start work.
• Ask you to buy gift cards, equipment or "starter kits" and pay you back later.
• Send you a check and ask you to send part of the money somewhere else.
• Interview you only by text or a chat app like Telegram or WhatsApp.
• Ask for your bank details or Social Security number before you're hired.
• Ask you to receive and re-ship packages from your home.
